ASICS launched the GT-2000 in 2012, and over the years has steadily improved the trainer. Its tooling is used as the foundation for the GEL-TERRAIN GTX. It combines FLYTEFOAM cushioning and GEL technology for lightweight responsiveness, while the upper is informed by the GEL-FUJITRABUCO series, with technical no-sew welding and a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. A segmented, triangular tread pattern ensures traction on sloppy surfaces.
